Richmond Marina: Public Boat Launch

Discover the sublime joy of a hassle-free paddle on this 4-hour kayak tour around Brooks Island. We'll do all the planning, packing and gear-hauling so you can focus on enjoying the time outside. No kayaking experience required - our instructors will cover all the basics and safety tips before we launch. We'll paddle in tandem kayaks through the Richmond Marina, home of the Kaiser Shipyards and Rosie the Riveter National Historic Park, then out towards Brooks Island Regional Preserve which boasts 300 acres of protected land in the San Francisco Bay. Leopard sharks, bat rays and seals may be seen while taking in iconic views of the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz Island and Angel Island. Please note, that due to preserve restrictions we cannot go ashore to explore the island on foot. Paddling this beautiful waterway while surrounded by the East Bay Hills and Mount Tamalpais offers a unique experience.
